Can't select AirPrint Printer after iOS 17 Update

Me too! Apple. Get it together. This is a HUGE issue!!!!!!!

I am having the same issue since updating to iOS 17

Dell Color MFP E525W Worked fine until the iOS upgrade.

Two phones. One is a 14 pro, other is a brand new 15 pro.

I have 17.02 and still cannot print. I see and select the printer, but it returns and says no printer selected.

i have same problem…

the printer was working… put after update it’s not, ican see the printer put still icant selected .. (iphone 11 pro max)

… with iphone 8 is still working

It is nothing short of outrageous that the update to IOS 17 now leaves me unable to print from my iPhone. Anyone have a solution to the problem or must we wait for Apple to now get around to a fix?

Works fine when wireless printing from Windows laptop to both printers. Tried rebooting the works, including 13 mini. No dice. All other functions through WiFi work fine. This was not a beta version and is a huge faux pas!

Just tried this lengthy process in exact order, and it did not solve my problem with the iPadPro telling me “no printer selected”. It shows me my printer, but when I choose it, I get the same old error message. We have no problems printing from my iPhone 7+, my husband’s iPhone SE, or my husband's new HP Envy laptop……except when I sent an email from his Envy laptop, after a few seconds I got an error message saying unable to connect to that printer or something, but then it proceeded to print just fine.

This is a big issue for me. I have been using my iPhone 11 for yearsss and after I updated my iPhone to iOS17 I can’t use my canon FM262DW. My father who doesn’t want to update his phone (I understand why now-lol) do not have any issue. Can any body found a solution??

I already turned off devices, router etc… nothing worked.

I can no longer print from my iPhone to my HP Printer after the latest software update. No printer, select HP Printer, “Gathering Printer Information then goes back to select printer. Very frustrating

i printed from my phone and iPad using my brother MFC-L2710DW printer without any problems prior to iOS 17 ‘s 3 updates. Once I loaded iOS 17 onto my phone and iPad my printing capabilities ended because the printer I selected would not stay selected after the update. Is there a fix for this????

Same issue since updating all both our iPad Pros and iPhones. Am able to print from phones but not form iPads. Have spent literally hours of time trying to do all that has been suggested, including rime with Canon, and indeed BT. Come on Apple play the game and get this sorted please

Yes and NO.

This is not the root solution, it might work for Canon printer (some), but it does not work for all printers so it is not "the solution".

We have an iPad and two iPhones which have been updated to iOS17.3 and when selecting my HP ENVY6200 from recent printers it then says No Printer Selected. I can print from my MacBook Pro M1 running Sonoma 14.0
