IPad Air 3rd Gen pink screen of death

Hi,

It’s been a few weeks now that I am facing this very strange issue with my iPad. Whenever I am using it the screen freezes randomly and then turns pink for a split second or so , followed by a restart. Now this happening for once or twice is manageable but it’s been happening almost consistently and sometimes it doesn’t even start when I turn it on.

I.e the apple logo comes up and then just when it’s about to start it glitches and turns off , then restarts again (this happens occasionally)

but once it starts it runs normally but again this issue is very frustrating as it interrupts when I am using the IPad.

I have tried everything from a force restart , complete reset and also updating the iPad but nothing seems to work it still keeps happening

I have never mishandled my iPad nor did I ever dropped it

I have no idea why such an issue is occurring all of a sudden.

Please do help as it’s pretty urgent

As described, you may have an intermittent hardware fault that will require investigation and possible repair. If a hardware fault is suspected, attempting to perform a factory restore or system software update is inadvisable - as the iPad may become unrecoverable if the iPad suffers an issue while installing the system software.

You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad. If a fault is confirmed, you'll be in the best possible place to explore your available options:
