just got the apple watch ultra 2 today and the night mode crown scrolling doesn’t work and it just goes to news and weather menu. Updated software, reset the watch. But no way I can change the night mode manually. Only can change from the phone ‘auto/on/off’ anyone have the same issue?

With the newest OS update, the crown doesn't activate night mode anymore. Night Mode works only on Wayfinder watch face, and you have to select the "Auto" option when selecting the Wayfinder watch face.
Apple please bring back this feature! It is hard to see night mode in some situations and we want to be able to scrolll to toggle it on/off

I also bought the ultra 2 and miss the crown nightlife functionality PLEASE bring it back!!!
It’s currently 10:33am here & my watch is still in Night Mode. Was far better when the control was the crown

The guy in Apple who agreed this change had to be drunk completely! This absolutely against the apple core values - totally nonintuitive and intricate.
Apple please give us the option to toggle night mode using the crown. That was my favorite ultra watch feature!
What a terrible update. Night mode on the crown was great and not even having the ability to configure the behavior is a gut punch on a smart watch of this price. I won’t buy another.
It better to add function to switch manually NIGHT MODE like it was in Watch OS9.

Hey apple, it looks like your customers hate the automatic night mode, especially since it is buggy, turning it on during daylight hours. At least give us a simple toggle to deactivate this feature!
