iPhone 15 Pro

Got my new iPhone 15 Pro and on Apple News I read an article and tried to return and it wouldn't return. The Apple News display at the top overlapped the display showing time, cell bars, wifi, and battery charge. When I touch the arrow at the upper left to return to Apple News it doesn't work. It makes Apple News unusable on this phone.

News app will not load after update to ios 18.2 I recently updated my iPhone and iPad to 18.2. The iPhone works fine but the iPad has problems. It is a 7th generation iPad. When I try to open the news app the spinning circle just displays forever and the app never loads. I've powered off and rebooted the iPad 3 times but the app still won't finish loading. Apple News+ on iPhone won't load, it just spins. This is an ANSWER to my problem: Yesterday, I upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 15 Pro. The transfer went smoothly. No problems. However, Apple News was just spinning when I started it on the iPhone. Apple News Plus is fine on my MBP and iPad. My News Plus shared subscription works fine on my family member’s devices. It just keeps spinning on the iPhone. I tried trouble-shoot steps 1-6. I then contacted Apple Support and Jason gave me another choice which fixed it. See step 7 compliments of Jason at Apple Support in Texas. 1. Close and reopen the app 2. Restart your device 3. Check for updates in the App Store. 4. Delete the app, then redownload it 5. iPhone software is up to date. 6. Checked for any VPNs or security/networking apps 7. Go to Settings > Your Name > icloud > Show All (under APPS USING ICLOUD). Scroll down to News. Turn off News. Select "keep on my iPhone." Launch Apple News. Once it launches, close the app, Return to Settings > Your Name > icloud > Show All (under APPS USING ICLOUD). Scroll down to News. Turn ON News. Select "Merge." Launch News app. All should be good. Apparently, when syncing the News app, it can get stuck. This "Unsticks" it. You can do this with any icloud apps listed that may be having the same problem.

Overlapping issue on iPhone's home screen post update Since the last uodate (not the most recent but before this update) my home screens top row wirh the time, wifi, and battery percentage has an overlap resulting in me not being able to read the text. How do I fix? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I uninstalled and reinstalled Apple News and that fixed it.
