the mobile data button does not work. it burns gray

when I just bought my iPhone, this button worked. but after a while it stopped working. I have to turn on the mobile data through the settings

If you're unable to turn Mobile Data on/off through Control Center but you can turn it on/off in Settings > Mobile Data, then the device may have a restriction turned on that is blocking it.


Go into Settings > Screen Time, and see if that is turned on. If it is, scroll down and select Content & Privacy Restrictions to see if that's currently turned on. If the restrictions is turned on, scroll down to the Mobile Data Changes option, and set that to "Allow".
