Can’t remove voicemail badge notification badge

Hi, my voicemail deactivated and 100% no voicemail message, I can’t remove the notification badge voicemail. Tried reset network settings still the same, using latest iOS on 12 pro max, need help

Updated to iOS 26.2 > Now no voicemail access (screen goes blank) I have an iPhone 15 Pro and recently upgraded to iOS 26.2. Now I cannot check my voicemail. I see a brief Screen Limit warning, then the screen goes blank and back to my icon screen. I get notifications of a new voicemail, but no missed call noted. I do have parental control on my kids phones, but as an adult never had the restrictions on myself. How do I fix this?

Voicemail Notifications but Never Setup I have been getting red badge notifications on my phone app under voicemail all of a sudden. I never set up my voicemail. I don’t want voicemail. How is anyone able to leave voicemail if it’s not setup? I’ve tried resetting the phone and turning visual voicemail on and off, etc. Nothing will remove the red badge notifications. They just keep accumulating. I don’t set it up for a few reasons but mostly I’m always getting scam and spam calls. Now I have to deal with it when I don’t want to. I feel like I have to set up the voicemail to make the notifications go away and I don’t want to do that. I read on another forum this is a carrier issue, but I’m not sure. I have T-Mobile. It seems to only be happening since I updated my iPhone to iOS 17.1

We'd like to share a suggestion to help with Voicemail. With this being a carrier related feature, you will want to reach back out to them regarding their showing a voicemail after deactivating the voicemail service.
