Apple Watch Ultra, setting time zone manually

I have an Apple Watch Ultra, and I live on the border of two time zones. I set my phone to stay on Eastern time, otherwise, it will jump back and forth and I won’t really know what time it is. As long as my watch is connected to my phone, it stays on Eastern time as well. But, if I leave my phone somewhere and go without it, my Apple Watch jumps back and forth between time zones, which has caused problems on multiple occasions. I’ve looked through the watch settings and the watch app on the phone, and struggle to find a solution. On older Apple Watches this wasn’t an issue, my watch would keep as its settings whatever my phone settings were, regardless of whether they are connected. As you can imagine, going for a thirty-minute run and finishing half an hour before you started can be a bit of an issue (not to mention when you are an hour late because your watch arbitrarily decided to change the time). Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks. The previous responses didn’t do anything but waste a good bit of time, so I’m more than happy to give that a try.

I haven’t been able to find a specific location services setting on the watch, but I’ve gone ahead and disabled it on my phone.

if you know of a specific setting that needs to be turned off on the watch, please let me know. Thanks
