How do I turn off pictures from auto saving into my camera roll from my iMessages?

How do I turn off the photos/screenshots I send through iMessage from auto saving to my camera roll? Every photo I send anyone or screenshot sent to group threads (that I personally send) get automatically saved in my photos. How can I stop this?

**Photos send TO me through iMessage I have already elected to not have "shared with me" saved to photos. How to I stop the photos that I send from saving to my photos?

Thanks!!

Thanks for reaching out rbells,

Once you've taken a screenshot, tap it to bring up the Photo editing options. You should see the Share button at the top right corner. Select where you want to share it to, then send it. Once it's sent, your iPhone screen should return to the previous Photo editing page. You can delete it there before it reaches the Photos app.

If you miss the opportunity, you can locate all of your screenshots in the Photos app under Albums > Media Types > Screenshots to delete them there.

Take care.
