Before the iOS update I could swipe up on my watch and a screen came up with theater mode, water removal, airplane mode, etc. now after the update to iOS 17 I cannot find this screen. I need to clear water out of my watch but cannot find how to do it. Please help!

Control Center is now accessed by pressing the Side Button. You can SET the Water Lock there. To release Water Lock if it has already been activated you need to press and hold the Digital Crown.
Press and release quickly. Then scroll up until you see the water drop. Tap on it. Then hold the crown button in until water is released. HTH!
Finally SOMEONE who helps !! Press and let go of the button below the crown. For the new update.
Press and let go. Don’t keep it pressed.
Press the flat button below the crown once. Scroll up until you see the water drop. Tap it to turn on water lock. Tap again to turn it off.

Although members state the crown can be used to fInd the water lock, it cannot be found on my watch since IOS 17 update.

I must be going mad, when I press the side button I get the app list, holding it just gives me Siri? I cannot find the control panel at all? Please help! Is it to do with my watch being series 4 ( or 5, forget which )
Three is no water lock icon when press digital crown, with updated new version, and no more slide up for it. It was so simple to use before now I have to take off my watch when going to water. How inconsistent is this!
Oh my gosh, on vacation doing water activities, wanted to eject water. Too me forever to get correct touch on side button to not get emergency response. The Tap button not crown feature works for water lock. With repetitive tries. Great way to spend vacation, making toys work!

Hey neda2023 I saw your comment on how to get water out of your Apple Watch so I’ll tell you how to do it, First when before getting your Apple Watch wet go to the control center on the bottom of the Apple Watch, second how to turn it of soooo,spin the dial until it makes noise and gets it out I hoped that helped and if it did not sorry🙂

It does not show on my Apple Watch SE. I have to go through settings from the side button to even find mute.
