iOS 17 on Apple Watch. How do you get to the screen to remove water?

so to get the water removal, theatre etc it’s the bottom button , press it twice

Right below the button that gives you the apps is a slim, almost flat, button. Press that once and you’ll get the list with the water lock, battery strength indicator, find my phone, etc.

you have to press and release the button below the crown to access the water lock screen

I can’t find any water lock on my watch.

Press the flat button below the crown once. Scroll up until you see the water drop. Tap it to turn on water lock. Tap again to turn it off.

It doesn’t show up and I think there is an ambulance on its way to my house!

OMG!!!----Finally able to eject water with this advice- other instructions were wrong, and the water drop icon has been MIA ever since updating the software- I thought it was something I did wrong!

Thank you for the help, I use the lock and find my iPhone feature from that menu, this was really helpful. Too bad they would not have communicated such a big change to users before upgrading.

Press the button below the crown and presto! Your water lock, battery icon, wifi etc will appear.
