With update to iOS 17, you can hardly hear the notification sound. It sounds like a water drop. Is there a way to change it back to the tone I had before. It’s making me crazy. And I’m also having a problem getting my iPhone voice when I restart my phone. If there is no fix I want to down grade. HELP.

This is the most ridiculous change I’ve ever seen. Please change it apple. I need to be able to differentiate what app is notifying me.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I have in fact submitted a concern to Apple some time ago. It amounts to a cruel thing to those of us who have difficulty hearing.
This has virtually neutered my home security system. Even on high volume I can barely hear alerts. A disaster.
The light is not an option as my phone is in a case. I have an apple watch and use it as well like you do.

Unless your case covers up the camera flash, it's an option.
