i’ve tried to open the app and it just sits there on the main page showing the tree with the person reading it won’t load anything I’ve shut down my phone brought it back up still won’t load anything and it says if I delete the app, I lose all my books

Don’t you lose all of your downloads if you delete and reinstall?
I was able to see my entire library and could have re-downloaded; if it would stay open for that long.
I have a similar issue. 2 days ago the app suddenly blips if I try to open a book and goes back to the start screen
Apple maintains it is an Amazon issue.
