Is Wi-Fi password visibility disabled in iOS 17 Update?

I need more space

I do not think that is a bug, but security. When you have a shared password, you cannot pass it on to others. That would make sense. I would even disable that password after some hours or a day.

Same here... I can no longer view my password from the WiFi Settings info button. WTF Apple?

Nope — didn’t work for me.

I remember not so long ago when we could when we could "tap on the password field" to see our wifi password. Those were the good old days.

This worked for me

go to the passwords app and click on the wifi option,then search for the network your connected to and ittl look just how it did last update,verify with face id then ittl show u the password!

Not sure how to fix this in iOS 17. But if you use the new password app in iOS 18, there is a wifi section in there. Go into the network and password can be viewed there

My iPhone is on iOS 17.3. I can see my password by selecting Settings > WiFi then tapping the "i" to the right of that name. Your password will show up as a series of dots.

Tap those dots, and your password will appear. Please note: I am not on iOS 17. I am updated to 17.3. Please try updating your iPhone by selecting Settings > General > Software Update. Follow the prompts to update. Once done, try looking for the password using my steps again.
