CarPlay Issues with new iPhone 15 Pro Max

I reached out to Apple and was told that I was being “uncooperative” when I would not allow them to access my phone or remove the IOS 17 platform! My Lexus dealer said that it definitely is a software compatibility issue and the only short term solution offered was using the plug in which I informed him via the message boards is not a solution either! Agree that the major engineers of both Apple & Lexus and whatever other car manufacturers need to communicate and resolve this!

Get the Belkin Boost Charge cable from Amazon. This fixed the issue for me in my Lexus NH

It only worked for me when I plugged my phone in BEFORE starting my car. It doesn't work if I start my car then I hook up after. IF you do find a solution keep us posted

My 15 pro max was playing yesterday and today I can’t get it to play. Tried everything mentioned above already but can’t see anything in my car screen. Lexus rx350

As mentioned previously, the standard means of connecting an iPhone to Lexus Car Play does not work with iPhone 15 Pro Max. My 2021 RX 350 connects easily to iPhone 12 Pro Max but not the 15.

Stop wasting your time with apple’s Mickey Mouse “tech support “!They don’t know anything!All you need is a high quality USB-c cable supporting at least 30W charger.That is all!

It does work with better usb-c cable!

Get a quality 30W or more W cable !!It will work!

I bought the data cable wont even charge my phone never Mind connecting to apple car play
