iphone xr camera and hdr

hdr toggled on in camera settings…

keep normal photo toggled on…

always get only 1 picture in photos.. doesn’t show hdr in top left corner.. pressing edit shows nothing relating to the photo…

hdr toggled off so i can control it via the camera app…

i see that hdr is turned on in the camera app…

same result.. only 1 photo in photos.. doesn’t indicate that it is hdr, and pressing edit reveals nothing.. ?

However, when I take videos on main camera, its saved to photos. I can also save photos on "front" camera. I have restored to factory settings, removed case and all; but still same issue. Smart HDR Missing on iPhone 13 Why Apple removed the Smart HDR turn off function on iPhone 13? The post processing (SMART HDR) on the cameras is making it unusable for me personally. I absolutely can’t stand the cartoony effect it does to my photos, and how it ruins a lot of details. My old iPhone SE 1st generation takes better photos than the new iPhone 13 mini! On the first frame, HDR mode is enabled, the second frame is selected from the live photo series. look at the colors! How to get Apple to return the smart HDR off function?!

any work around to turn HDR settings off? pretty crappy that I can't turn HDR off on photos on my Iphone 13. I hope they will come up with some update to fix this
