After the last Apple Watch OS update, Control Center disappeared from my SE watch. I did a soft reset and then a hard reset, and neither worked. I even tried wiping my watch and reinstalling everything, but still no Control Center. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

to bring control panel, you need to press side button (the one below round bottom). Control panel doesn’t swipe up anymore like it used to, I guess it was changed with the new update. I did everything too, only took me 2hr to figure it out…

As Idris says, DO NOT hold the button. Just do a quick press and release to bring up the Control Center. As long as the press is less than 5 seconds, it should work every time.
Double press and release is a bit more tricky. It really does need to be quick. If you wait too long between the 1st and 2nd press, then Control Center will come up. So you have to do the 2 presses rather quickly one right after the other, then you can get to Apple Pay.

Actually now it works to press the side button. Don’t know what changed - I’d tried multiple times - but now it’s working. All set.
WHY? just WHY? This was a really stupid change. I dislike pushing that side button. The swipe up was WAY easier and why change a good thing. Grr Give us a way to change it back or lose us forever!
Nope still brings up sos no matter if I hold or just tap.
Please put the Apple control back on the swipe up —the icons were pretty simple!! — find my phone, silent phone, airplane mode —— why make things difficult?? I don’t like this last update :(
Pls return the control center to swipe up I still can’t locate the control center on my watch I use this feature often

When I press the side button to get Apple Watch control centre, all that comes up is the Emergency screen.

Thank you!!! To access the control panel, the hidden trick is pressing the oblong side button, NOT THE ROUND “CROWN” BUTTON!!!

Stupid move Apple. Put the control center back the way it was. Swipe up on face. I am really upset with your change.
Really a backwards move by apple. It is twice as hard to activate control center.
