Control Center disappeared from Apple Watch SE after update.

I’m having the same issue and I have a Watch 3 too. I’ve pressed the crown and the bottom button to no avail. I’ve swiped every direction like my life depends on it - nada. I’ve searched the list of apps thinking I could find “control center” - nope. I’ve scoured the net-webs for an answered and see people suggest a quick press of the bottom button - I’ve done that dozens of times and yes, the elongated capsule shaped one (i.e. not the crown). I’ve called the Mayor… no luck there either. There isn’t an Apple Store within 130 miles so…. Help.

That sounds like you are pressing the Digital Crown, and not the flat oval side button.

Bob, I know you keep saying the flat oval button is the answer but Rstekeur and I are trying to tell you that it doesn’t open the control center on the Apple Watch 3. It opens the App Switcher. Like Rstekeur’s wife, I too depend on the find phone button within the control center.

Then they would be accused of SPAM'ing and a different class of users would be complaining. Apple gave free U2 music to everyone and they complained. Someone will always complain about anything.

Generally when you apply an update, there is a option to view the changes. Most users just blow past that and ignore the offer to find out what is new.

It is so very difficult to push the side button in if you just want to use one of the many useful icons. Can you get any back? I never use apps just the standard control centre one s. Water resist, ring my phone, sleep mode, silent mode etc v

As other in this string have commented/requested... Apple, please bring back the ability to swipe up on the Apple Watch screen to reach the Control Center asap!!

It seems that this was a terrible update due to the fact of how often the control center on the Apple Watch is used (Battery Mode, Theater Mode, Water Mode, Airplane Mode, Focus, Flashlight, etc...) and how ofter the side buttons on the watches stop working because they are either worn out or become dirty.

Your Product Managers weren't paying attention on this one.

when I scroll up now, I get a click (redundant), weather(redundant), and some other Redundant thing. And the Emergency contact is nowhere to be found. And that’s why a lot of older folks get this expensive watch.

I cannot find the control center on my Apple Watch. When I pressed the long button on side of watch the only thing that comes up is medical ID , compass backtrack, emergency call.

Same here and I used it all the time. This supposed fix to press the side button does NOT bring it back. Not only do I misplace my watch in the house all the time, but I used the other control center features too. Bring it back please Apple! It was probably the most used feature on my Apple Watch 8. I am really angry with whatever developer decided we didn’t need it anymore. I really don’t care about the info you swipe up to now.

This “update” of a major feature in functionality makes no sense. The control center to get phone pinging or water locking is very important, especially for someone who may have limited use of their other hand or who constantly misplaces their phone, think older individuals. There needs to be an easier non-hardware way to access it.
