iPhone 15 charging keeps blinking and beeping
Plugged into the cable that came with new phone. And Apple cube. Upon charging the screen blinks on off while beeping every 2 seconds that it is charging.

Hey @jordana128 so I’ve figured it’s to do with the Wattages and not the cable. I got the same 1% blinks/vibrations when charged using a plug/Anker charger above 20W. If use anything below 20W am able to get a smooth charging. Includes both OEM cable that came along with the phone + anker 2m cable that I use.

I had this issue and after trying 4 different charging cables and sources (two different adapters and cords in my house, a third cord in my car, and a fourth cord at my office plugged directly into my Apple laptop) I can confidently say that, for me, the cords were fine. The issue was the optimized charging and the clean energy options. I just turned them both off, restarted my iPhone 15, and now my phone is charging correctly.
I am guessing that, for me, the most recent update did something to cause this.

Guess Apple is blocking users from going above 20W maybe.
UPDATE: i’ve bought a new charger adapter the next day and the problem stopped
Changing the charging optimization setting to NONE and restarting my phone solved it!
Iphone 15 Pro blinks, beeps, and will not charge when at, or below 3%.
Using the same cable, block, etc… when the phone is at, or above 10%, it charges just fine.
So my solution is not let it drop low
Same problem here; I changed my non-Apple certified plug for another, identical plug and voila! no more beeping Every. ******. Time. it gained another 1% in its charge. The plug (which also had a cable for my iPad) was really hot when I swapped it out, FWIW.
Happened to me using my car’s usb slot. Amusingly did the same thing on my spouse’s Anddoid!
when inspecting the phones they appeared to be going in and out of an active charging state.
The solution was to plug the cable into a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter instead! Crazy.
this is probably due to some power/voltage conversion issue. Especially since the USB standards keep changing and 10 year old vehicles likely have outdated hardware.
My new adapter cube works fine ! So the other new cube did not work properly. Phone charges now. With No issues
Yes. Turning off “optimization” option have solved blinking/beeping problem while charging my iPhone 15 four months old, appeared since last iOS actualization (17.3.1). Thanks and Rgds
I used a normal usb to type c cable for charging my iPhone 15 max pro and it’s working perfectly with no blinking and beeping. The problem is with the type c to type c cable and box.
We believe it’s the adapter cube. Going to buy another one. See how that works.
Turn off charging optimisation….fixed…iPhone 15
Opps I forgot to restart the phone and now it seems to have stopped?
This appears to be either an adapter that’s old/low watt or optimized charging on. It does not do this on a mag charger.
