iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain Issue

I have bought iPhone 15 pro recently. The expectation is battery should be efficient, but is performing poor than iPhone 11. Especially Findmy app is used all night. The battery went down from 55% to 32%. Please help me to fix this?

Well, I just updated to iOS 17.0.3 and my iPhone 15 Pro 512gb natural titanium is still as warm as ever and the battery has still dropped 15% in one hour …

I talked to someone who works for Apple and they said it’s not gonna get any better that they had better venting and heat dissipation for the 14 pro with the stainless steel and that the A17Pro Chip gets too hot …and titanium doesn’t allow it to disperse. I don’t think any software update is going to make this work. and when you have a hot chip, you’ll have a battery that drains extra fast.

i’m going to further test it tomorrow on Thursday and see how it goes — and then I’m taking it back Friday (within the first 14 days) and getting all my money back. I’m glad I kept my 11 Pro. I would suggest everybody to do this as Friday is your last day to get your money back since it was the first day you could pick it up in the store

this is by all means a massive hardware design defect and there’s no remedying it. I don’t know what Apple‘s gonna do with this one. The only way they can stop it from getting hot is the throttle that A17 chip and the expert I talk to said that’s not even gonna help much. Some units are fine some aren’t. I’m not gonna gamble my $1500 on it again.

I bought my Iphone 15 pro max directly from Apple.

It drains battery like ****!

The battery was 88% at around 2300hrs before going to bed.

By the time I woke up, the phone was dead!

This continue on a daily basis to the extent that I have to buy power bank and take it with me when going out/travelling all the time.

I have deleted almost everything and disabled almost everything that I thought might be draining the battery but no changes.

Can I return the phone back to Apple.

I spoke to the customer service advisor today regarding the battery draining issue.

He took me through all the settings, at the end, the phone was restored to the factory setting like new phone.

I charged it fully thereafter, without using it, it’s now 61%.

The time I spent with them was a waste of time. No effects, nothing changes!

I didn’t buy this phone to turn off certain features. That’s a ridiculous solution. My 14 ProMax had amazing battery life and I barely turned anything off except for some background app refreshing.

I feel this drain issue will not be fixed. They touted better battery which was false. An inferior battery was put into this phone and it will not be addressed. Just have to suck it up and wait for new phones.

Brand new iPhone 15 pro as of October. Anyone else having this horrible battery draining issues? This is beyond ridiculous!! I’ve turned off all the features suggested to save battery which I shouldn’t have to do in the first place. The whole reason I got a new phone was to have a longer lasting battery! Anyone know if they are coming out with a fix? It’s lasting for 5 hours max and I am stressed everytime I use it bc it just drains!!!

Yes, about 3,000 15 pro users have expressed frustrations over the short battery life of the pro 15! I’m betting there are many more who has the problem who has not posted! I’m sure Apple is aware of the problem, how deep it runs and if it can be fixed or not! My fear is the drain problem cannot be fixed without installing a better quality battery!

I’m having battery drain issue as well and have returned to Verizon where I bought it only to be lectured about how to use my battery correctly which I was doing. I contacted apple support who told me my analysis of phone showed no “hardware” malfunction. They had no answers and are acting like nothing is wrong with my phone. It seems like a big cover up that there is a problem vs admitting there is one and working to fix it.
