The issue is caused by the new A17 processor that actually uses more Wattage in some cases, and the processor speeds on cpu/gpu are turned up over 10% at minimum on each core compared previous generations of iPhones. That’s a bit of processor increase in performance overall so some extra heat is to be expected. The phone is never gonna catch fire or explode! Apple processors are Top of the Line and can compare to a larger desktop/laptop Processor in some cases like i3 and maybe even a i5. So the software does its best to give you the performance you want without warming up. Heat is normal and processors go up in speeds all the time and your transferring the same energy consumption about into smaller and smaller transistors and smaller and smaller forms, it’s just a trade off of processors. Don’t worry your phone is fine! Apple would never release a “overheating” phone! I think people just complain to much about everything also, if your not tech savvy and dont understand how the hardware works and trade offs from energy consumption, most processors at allowed to reach a max of 85-95C (185F-203F) before thermally throttling and such in desktop and laptops. So I imagine tadpole would not let it get this hot, due to it being mobile device. M point being the Hardware can handle high temps but you don’t want it that hot consistently and iPhone 15 before throttling won’t ever be that hot. So rest assured your safe. Reasons why it’s heating up, people hold the phone in their hand with all fingers on it and whole hand covering it, your hand is hot and gonna trap the heat in the phone also, some thicker cases also, high end charging bricks like 50w+ I’ve noticed and under 30w phone doesn’t heat up while charging. Just wanted to give food for thought, I don’t think it’s messing up it’s just the power of the phone and it’s power consumption ca lead to getting warmer sooner because it’s a high end device. I’ll update this post after a week with the phone! Bookmark and check back or leave your comments I’d be happy to look into other thoughts you’s may have!
