Keynote 13.2 won't export transparent shapes correctly to PDF. If you create a shape with a semi-transparent gradient, the export won't show the gradient, but instead a semi-transparent shape. Depending on the size of the object it will even convert the original shape (in my example a round) to a generic square.
The issue won't happen when exporting to images.

Hi, I have reported the issue to Apple (thanks Gary). They're working on it. So far the solution consists in choosing 'Print' instead of 'Export' and then choose the 'Save as PDF' in the lower part of the printer window. The file should be ok. At least it worked for me.

I have the same problem and hoping that this gets fixed ASAP. For now, what I do is try to Print it, under Page Attributes, I create a new Paper Size (6.40 x 3.60 inches) and set it to Portrait. Then, at the bottom click the PDF dropdown and select Save as PDF. This exports it to PDF without the transparency issues. I hope this works for you.
Finally, with the update to version 14 the problem has been fixed!
I'm having the same issue. If I print to PDF it doesn't have the same problem with transparent forms, so a work around is to set the size of paper to the size of the presentation and try to minimize the border as much as possible.

Same issue here. Have been in touch with Apple three times, and there is still no timeline for a new version of Keynote or a fix for this issue. It's incredibly frustrating not being able to downgrade either, as Apple offers no way to do this.
Exporting using the Print-function does not work reliably either. Exporting in Keynote for Web or iOS also has the same bug.
There are a few thing wrong with Keynote 13.2.

Just had a call with Apple, and they don't have any update on this, although there have been multiple reports on this issue. So nothing to do but wait, I'm afraid.
I'm on version 14.0 issue persists.
The black images below (QR codes) is a transparent PNG which renders transparent in Keynote but with black backgroud when exporting as PDF!

This works to some extent. The problem is that single-color text that’s on top of a gradient block changes its vibrancy. In my case, it dramatically shifts the color. So I would imagine that anything other than black or white text is going to see this problem when choosing File > Print.
Apple, please address this

QR code below is a perfectly fine transparent PNG that renders within Keynote with transparent background, but during PDF export gets a black background (this didn't exist for me before 2024).
Hi, this is the same with me as well. Cant downgrade the keynote to 13.1 so im kinda stuck with 13.2.
Can apple provide a solution to this please !

Same issue here, I use version 13.2 (7038.0.87) and my presentation incorporates a transparent gradient over an image. Exporting it to PDF converts it to a solid block.
I guess I’ll confirm it’s been fixed when they address another issue that’s related to transparency. Just posted here:
