Continuity camera compression artifacts

Hi, I've started using my iPhone 13 mini as my webcam on my Mac. It great, and works fine... except after about 30 seconds compression artefacts starts to appear, and then get worse and worse and worse, until I move about A LOT. That seems to refresh it, but then it starts again.

Any ideas what this could be, or how to trouble shoot it?

I've now realised it only does it on the main camera, not the wide angle. It also does it after restarting both.
