Adobe Acrobat digital signature messes up Google Email on MacBook Pro

Created a digital signature on Adobe Acrobat and linked it or stored it on apple key chain which created 2 BIG PROBLEMS

1) wouldn't allow emails to send-- kept asking for "private key access". I fixed by "unchecking" blue check requiring digital signature.. I also deleted the certificate on KEYCHAIN but that did not work.

I can now send emails but the "seeking private key access" query is still popping up annoyingly

I put adobe acrobat in the trash and deleted it. Is there anything else necessary to delete Adobe Acrobat and its digital signature that have messed up my email app (Gmail through Apple)

Thanks for any assistance

Hello agent zero,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like your email is now working but this alert is coming from a third-party app. Right? Try the guidance in If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac - Apple Support. Although your app hasn't stopped responding, there are some great steps there for third-party apps.

• If an app doesn’t quit as expected, or it’s unresponsive, you can force quit the app (you may lose unsaved changes). Choose Apple menu > Force Quit, select the app in the dialog that appears, then click Force Quit.
• If the app quit, reopen it by clicking Reopen in the dialog that appears.
• Restart your Mac by choosing Apple menu > Restart.
• Make sure the app is compatible with your version of macOS.
• Open another file in the app. There may be a problem with the original file.
Check for updates to your software.
• Disconnect any peripheral devices you just connected (for example, a printer). They may not be compatible with your version of macOS.
• Uninstall any app plug-ins or enhancements from other manufacturers.
If you recently updated the app or macOS, a plug-in or enhancement you installed may no longer be compatible.
Diagnose problems on Mac to learn whether hardware you installed, such as additional memory, is incompatible, improperly installed, or defective.

If you need more help after that, it ay be best to reach out to the app developer for further assistance. The guidance in How to contact an app developer - Apple Support can help locate their contact information if needed.

All the best.
