Updating an iPhone 12:

When it comes to updating an iPhone, aside from WiFi or Ethernet a Computer, your only other option is to use Cellular. So, try update using Cellular. If of not success, try this once more, this time using a computer...

If you Can't Update Off of the iPhone:

As a workaround, try using a computer. Any success in doing so?

Troubleshooting iPhone Update:

They try connecting your computer to Ethernet. If that is of no success, then restart your router. It still not success, then try troubleshooting the iPhone's WiFi....

Seems to be an issue with the iPhone's WiFi connection? Try the following...

A few thoughts to try:

I. Start Here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch won't Connect to a Wi-Fi Network - Apple Support

II. Clear the Temporary Internet Files:

• Cookies perform remembrance of certain site-entered data.
• Cache keeps a snapshot of the last time you visited a site.
• Go Here: Clear the History and Cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - Apple Support

III. Restart your Router:

1. Power: off the router
2. Wait: 30 seconds
3. Power: It back on

IV. Reconnect to your Network:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Wi-Fi
3. Disable: Wi-Fi
4. Wait: 30 seconds
5. Enable: Wi-Fi

V. Add Back the Network:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Wi-Fi
3. Remove: the network
4. Wait: 30 seconds
5. Add: the network back

VI. Reset All Network Settings to Default:

Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc):

1. Go To: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Reset
4. Tap: Reset Network Settings.
5. Enter: [Your Passcode]
