After I updated my 7 series watch, I cannot access the control center by swiping up on the home screen. I did a hard reset of the watch but it did not help.
Thoughts?

Unfortunately I do not have the option of side button click speed. I must have a different Apple Watch model. A light click seems to work quite well. Thanks though.
Same problem for my Apple Watch Series 7 also.
can’t swipe for control center
Thank you so much! I researched everywhere and could never find that information. I kept trying to swipe up from the bottom, or use the crown control. Thank you so much for your information.
It doesn’t work for some earlier versions of the watch.

Thank you for saying where the side button was located. I thought it was the crown. This helped me figure out the issue. Now I can find my control center.

What "Phrase" did you use. When I ask, it says you do not have an app called control center.
When I pressed the side button I got the emergency service and then the control center popped up and went away quickly
