My Iphone xs max is not charging after ios 17 upgrade

Hey i have a XS Max with 83% battery health this phone hasn’t really gave to many problems it seems to get hot quick sometimes and it seems to die fast but ever since since about last week my phone doesn’t charge i got a fast charger with a 20W block and charger and it won’t charge it. I’ll leave it on for about 3/4 hours or even more and i’ll come back and the battery will decrease i’ll watch it while using my phone it actually goes down while using it and when i’m not on it it will go down

Yeah I'm having the same issue too, I just updated my phone to ios 17 a day or two ago because my apple remote feature on it wasn't working, and now it won't charge on any of the chargers in the house. And the issue is only happening to my phone.

I’m having the same issue. Apple has blamed the lead, which is a brand new adapter and lead. 4 days old to be exact.

new phone too as it was a replacement from phone. Never used a cord charger till 4 days ago as to and I began having issues 2 days in.

lucky I read this thread as I was about to drive over an hour to get another lead. This is disgraceful that Apple isn’t transparent about the FAULT!

Did anyone get a satisfactory resolution or even a response? I have the self-same issue, many devices, iPads, iPhone 12 etc. etc. will happily use the same charger, whereas my until now completely reliable XS Max turns its nose up at everything. Granted, a restart works around the issue, but this just isn’t acceptable from Apple.

Same issue, after updating from iOS 16 to 17. Will downgrade back to 16, if no solution from apple.

Same here. iPhone XS Max not charging via cable or other cable or wall and doesn’t change when plugged into the wall. Since update.

Same problem. Only charges well with wireless charging now. Otherwise, it shuts down. Multiple cables and chargers used. Started only after I did the upgrade

My iPhone XS Max doesn’t charge at all. Every time I need to shut it down in order to charge. Apple please fix this issue.

Me too having same problem. I have to switch off mobile xsmax everytime battery below 20% so that it starts charging. This is very annoying and Apple is not taking promp action to remedy

I still have this problem ever since iOS 17 came out! Does Apple even consider this an issue worth fixing?
