MagSafe 3 port shell came off & circuit exposed

My MacBook Air M2's MagSafe 3 charging cable port shell came off & circuit exposed which is hilarious. Wondering why this happened is a night mare. Like every day, my mac was charging and I tried to unplug the MagSafe, when the shell (cover of the MagSafe port) came off and went backwards towards the cable.

So a few days ago i plugged my MBA (2022) in and i noticed my charger looked weird. instead of plugging straight in, it kind of attaches at an angle. it’s not one of the things where i have to hold it at an angle for it to work though. i would say it charges fine, but it wants to come off of my mac a lot easier than before and when i move it the indicator light flashes once or twice.
