Traveled multiple times and no problems.
In other words, you have broken the law multiple times without having been caught. That's fine for you. But that's not something we can recommend here in the Apple Support Community.
Also, IF IT OCCURS, there is a limit in dollars to bring these things together without have to pay taxes.
The tax will never be the value of product x 3. MBA and MBP prices in Brazil are absolutely high anyways.
That's really not the point. Brazil is well known for its complicated laws and regulations. It doesn't matter if the tax isn't 300%. The tax, the duties, and the fines might very well add up to that and more. I regularly travel internationally. Even when you fully comply with the law, fill out all the forms, and are willing to pay any duties, you are still taking a risk. You are singling yourself out. Maybe there is a standard procedure to do an automatic, extensive search, turning a 30 second border interaction into a 2 hour one.
But when you buy locally, you support your local economy. You pay the salaries for local salespeople and local support techs. You pay the salaries for Apple employees to comply with Brazilian law, to localize the software, to write all the documentation in Portuguese, and to make the extra effort to support many different Apple services in Brazil.
