New iPhone 15 Pro overheating when charging, or during extended use on phone talking.

Hi folks... anyone else having issues (looks like a few)? Hope it is a simple software fix - upgraded from a 12 and now regretting my decision.

Hey FinSte,

There are situations where you may experience your iPhone overheating. Check those out in the section "Your device might get warm" here: If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold - Apple Support

That resource also has some steps you can take in the section "If your device gets too warm", so be sure to take a look there too. In addition to the tips and information in that resource, it's also recommended to ensure your iPhone software and apps are fully updated. Updates help by installing bug fixes and include security updates too. If an update is needed, back up first:

We hope this helps.

Take care!

It’s scam. Apple failed to test out the hardware before launching the product. Especially due to titanium in the frame the heat dissipates at a much lower rate as compared to aluminium, hence all this overheating issues in pro and pro max phones. It can be solved, because to solve it they have to recall all pro and pro max models. How much ever will they claim their new updates fixes the issue, the update is just throttling the processor to perform at a lower capacity so that it doesn’t heat much. So we are paying a hefty amount and still not getting the full processor speed along with overheating issues which can’t be resolved.

Apple has now turned into a money stealing organisation and selling out the worst quality product without testing.
