Text Message Bar Gone on iPhone & iPad After Update to 17.0.1

I have no "A" in front of my message bubble to click on to get photos, #images, memoji stickers, or message effects. I just see a plus sign. I have to click on that to get to photos, #images, etc. Why this extra step now?

Can't scroll back to previous message while texting after iOS 17 update I remember the first time this happened was after the previous iOS 16 update. As you were texting the reply box would get bigger and bigger and hide the previous message. However, I had discovered that there was a little arrow to the left of the reply box that take you back to the previous message. Now since the 17 update that little arrow is no longer there!! There is just a + that has other settings. If I pull down on the screen it will take me back to the previous message until my reply box is too big and then it takes up the whole screen and I can't see the previous message at all!! So frustrating these updates that muck around changing things when it all worked just fine!!! How do I read my previous message now!? It's important to be able to scroll back so I can refresh my memory on everything the text said so I can reply back properly.

Gifs disappeared after iOS 17 update i have lost the # images function for my messages after the latest iOS 17 update. I tried to turn on gifs (images) in Settings, I also tried clicking on the + then the More button from the app deck in my actual messages, I tried turning off some of the other app options to make space in the app deck and still cant get #images after the latest iOS 17 update. I restarted twice after the update to see if that would help anything and nothing.

"Moved" doesn't actually mean "removed".
