Allowing an app access to my photos on my iPhone 15 Pro Max

when i try to give an app full access to my photos all i get is private selection and there is nowhere to select the options button

hello! was this resolved? i woke up and my phone is in this setting too

I’m looking for the answer for my photo to remove the Private Access which I never select that option and I cannot remove because there is no option to remove it. Thank you

Same issue for me. Some apps have access to all photos some don’t have the option to allow that. Can’t change it from the settings app or from the app settings.

I just worked with Apple support and got a solution: Turn off “screen time” and restart the phone.

idk what app your trying to use but in my case it was doing this for procreate. if you go to the photo u want and copy/paste it into the desired app it should work. hope this helps!

Had this issue with Synology Drive app on iOS 17.5.1. Was able to solve it as follows:

• Following a call to Apple Support and a sharing session this worked for me with iOS 17.5.1
• Go to:

1. Settings
2. General
3. Transfer or Reset iPhone
4. Reset
5. Reset Location and Privacy
6. Type in your code
7. Confirm

• In this way I was able to go back to Synology Drive and iPhone will prompt you for the access type and allowing you to indicate “All Photos”.

Side note:

• as privacy settings were reset, all other apps will ask you again for location, Bluetooth, calendar, etc access.
• Yes, it may be a pain… but then again, is always good to review privacy settings regularly.

This happened to my ipad and I just shut it down then powered it on and it seems ti have worked
