With so many people experiencing the same issue, just wondering what apple is doing about it. Seems like it’s a phone or software problem. Is it going to get fixed, or are you going offer something to get a proper working phone? Would love for you to experience not being able to close out or type the letter P if your application doesn’t allow your phone to rotate. Phones aren’t cheap

Sure it's been reported "many many times". Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported it directly to Apple?"
Provide Apple With This Feedback:
Do your Part: Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time. So, to get the word out to Apple on this, provide them with feedback. They won't get back to you directly on this, but the more they hear of it, the more they will know what problems exist and how to go about fixing them. So, do you part and provide feedback on it. Be certain that you are positive with the feedback (elsewise, it'll likely be filtered out). Apple will know nothing of this issue, if you don't report it.
