Why has Favourites/Dock been removed in WatchOS10??

If enough users send feedback, it is more likely a decision maker will see it, and maybe take action.

You can still do it! I have a bunch I added and rearranged on the new OS. Go to the dock, hold down one of the existing apps, and tiny icons will pop up, and the apps will start shaking. The icons let you add or remove the apps. Easy peezy!

Wipe up the face or rotate the crown to bring up Widgets which replaced Dock

You can choose what apps to keep there and can pin them to the top.

A Dock in another name.

I agree with all that the Dock feature taken away is not a favorable decision. At the risk of me stating the obvious, the double click feature on the crown will take you to your most recent apps, so if you click on your fav apps or use it frequently, it/they will always be there when you double click the crown. Hope this helps

I have sent feedback to Apple via Feedback - Watch - Apple asking them to bring the Favourites back in the Dock, and hope that as many as possible of you do the same.

Swipe up on the screen. Long press app to pin. Tap on the pin option on the upper right of the app. It's kinda yellow colored.

Not all of the apps have available widgets. The one at the top of my favorites list doesn’t (adding the widget was the first thing I tried) so this update is super annoying for me.

If I understand your needs correctly, I think you are looking for the open tasks dock. In WatchOS 10 it has moved with the shuffle of functions around the buttons. Try DOUBLE CLICK on the Digital Crown and see if you get what you want.
