How can I change the color of the cursor in text edit (sonoma MB pro)?
It used to be black until I updated ...now it's turquoise
MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.0
Confirmed that in Sonoma 14.0, the TextEdit cursor color responds to the System Settings : Appearance : Highlight color that is selected, but not the accent color.

tried a bunch of suggestions nothing worked... the cursor color option does not work for me.
That changes the color to what?
So, after all these years I can no longer highlight in yellow if I want a black cursor?
