My Apple AirPod Pros are playing too loud while using my Apple Watch series 8. I have adjusted the noise control in the watch to the lowest and it plays everything at maximum level. Noise control and volume adjustment is fine on other devices; MacBook Pro, iPhone XS, Apple TV 4K. Only on the Apple Watch I cannot adjust the volume of the headphones.

When you're wearing your Apple Watch with your iPhone not nearby, are the AirPods paired with the iPhone, or were they changed to be paired with your Apple Watch?
We're not finding this mentioned on the page we shared earlier. However, it would be a good step to isolate the issue.
Once you determine which device connection, or both, that affect the volume control, we'd advise to contact Apple Support. They can look into this further.

I am able to do all the gestures with the AirPod; just not with my Apple Watch Series 8. If I listen to music via my iPhone, everything works perfectly. Once I try to use the Apple Watch alone with my AirPods the volume cannot be adjusted; I am able to do all gestures expect lower the volume of the AirPods.
