iPhone maps now avoiding freeways with toll lane after latest update

Why is my iPhone maps now avoiding freeways with toll lane after latest update? I had avoid toll roads turned on, but not freeways. The express lane is only one lane… not the whole freeway. It’s only one lane out of about half-a-dozen-lanes. So I turned off avoid toll roads, but it’s still avoiding the freeway! That there must be a new bug that needs to be squished! Anyone here that can help get it fixed?

Problems with Apple Maps not showing directions any more! My Apple Maps has suddenly stopped showing directions! It doesn’t even use the predictive suggestions any longer. I am using an iPhone 12 with iOS 16.3.1. I have tried deleting & reloading the app, but to no avail! Any ideas?

Apple Maps freezes app since iOS 16 The UDOT Traffic iOS app uses embedded Apple Maps. On iPhones running iOS 16.x, the app freezes when pinch-zooming in/out. The app becomes completely unresponsive for several minutes. It does eventually return control to the user if we wait long enough. Most just kill the app or reboot the phone to regain control. This ONLY happens on iPhones running iOS 16.x - it does not happen on devices running earlier versions of iOS. Anyone seeing this same type of behavior with Apple Maps on iOS 16.x?
