I am having problems with connecting my iPhone 15 Pro to Honda CrV CarPlay.

Won’t connect with Hondalunk or pair with Bluetooth. Already spent an hour with Hondalink support. They put everything back to factory settings, etc. & could not solve the issue

SOLVED - just re-booted the radio unit on 2018 honda cr-v by pressing and holding the volume knob. then carplay connected just fine to my new iphone 15 plus. was having the same problem a lot of people in the forum with iphone 15 series not connecting to carplay, rebooting the radio unit in the car solved it

Definitely seems like this is an issues that has just come up for 15 pro phones over the last couple of weeks.


On Thursday while listening to music and Waze was the nav system got the black screen music was still playing but couldn’t even change songs with the steering wheel controls. I have tried all that has been suggested other then the hard radio rest that I’ll try now.


If that doesn’t work then I guess it is a trip to the dealer for a suggestion of a system update on their end.
