airdrop device identity

The airdrop doesn't show the full name of my computer. Others at work have similar computer names (we get our laptops from IT) so I need to see the last 4 digits in order to confirm that I am sending airdrop images from my phone to the correct computer. Otherwise, I might be sending them to colleagues. Very bothersome.

This is new since the last phone update a few days ago. Please advise or address this issue. I'm sure I am not alone in this. Otherwise, airdrop is really great.

It can be hard to say exactly what is causing this, but we have some good, general troubleshooting steps that we'd like to recommend.
