The photos on my iPhone 15 are coming out blurry and dark, any advice?

I just recently got my new iPhone 15 Pro and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the camera. The photos are coming out blurry and dark, with a gray tone. I am not sure if this is something that will be fixed after a while but I did some research and I am not the only one with this issue.

I just took this photo with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, mere inches from my napping cat. Not a particularly great photo (that wasn't my intent), but it is in focus. Had I tried the same on an iPhone 15, it would have been blurry because it lacks the ability to focus as close as a Pro model iPhone:

Here's another quick photo I just took of an ornament on our Christmas Tree (again, with iPhone 15 Pro Max). I couldn't have gotten much closer to the ornament if I tried:

As far as I'm concerned, my iPhone 15 Pro Max, takes amazing photos which are neither dark nor blurry.

There are a lot of YouTube videos by professional magazines reviewers about this. I won't post links here cause not sure of tos. A simple search will get u there. I'd check those videos and then contact Apple. They have to be working on a fix.

I'm here checking on this very issue before I pull trigger on a 15 pro Max.

I'll wait.

Coming from great pixels but wanna switch back for compatible Apple tech software.

Hello, the iPhone 11 Pro front camera has a ƒ/2.2 aperture vs the iPhone 15 pro which is ƒ/1.9 aperture so as from specs it lets in more light than the iPhone 11 Pro.
