The photos on my iPhone 15 are coming out blurry and dark, any advice?

I got this pink apple 15 for Christmas and I was so excited to have this phone . Now that I take the pictures they come out very blurry dark and always saying portrait mode I tried several times to take it off but it does nothing for me .

Lobsterghost, you said you were bowing out. Back so soon? Dumbing people down is your answer? All the people here have successfully used and enjoyed the pictures they took on OTHER iphones. If you have nothing constructive to say (kind would have been nice too), why don't find a community more fitting to the good luck you've had with your iphone. Cuz it ain't rocket science.

I bought the 15 plus and I hate how the front camera before taking the photo looks great , but then after it looks grey , dark , and blurry I hope apple fixes this because it’s really disappointing. I had upgraded to the 15 plus after having the 8 and I gotta say the camera quality on some of the older phones are way better than this quality for a 15 plus

Today I gave up and search why is the camera worst than the 11? The reason why I got this 15 is because of the false advertising video that they had for the release showing how great the camera was. Come on, lemon, I mean Apple.

I honestly tryed every options and none changed that frontal camera results. So no sorry I’m not buying it.

what's the format you use to save the photos?

I guess whatever the standard is on iPhone? They look fine in camera roll but then dull/darken whenever I try to utilize them anywhere else.

There isn't a standard on the iPhone, you need to choose one and select it in the camera settings

just tried this switch, photos still don’t look the same when attempting to upload or sending to someone. It’s as if the auto enhance feature is disabled except for in the camera roll.

It's not working with the photos you've already taken, it'll work for the future photos that will be saved in .jpeg

Oh I took new photos. It didn’t change the issue.
