Can't make side car work on my macbook pro

Running Ventura 13.3 on my macbook pro 2017 and IOS 15.7.9 on my ipad air 2 late 2014. Cannot make sidecar work, or bluetooth or add display on mac. Both same ID, same wifi, connected with cable. I remove the bluetooth plist files restart, tried terminal nothing worked. Ipad sees Mac as it turns as discoverable or not when it wants. I don't know what else I can do.

Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac - Apple Support

Going by the Sidecar system requirements section in this article, your MacBook Pro and its operating system are new enough, but your iPad Air isn't. You have a second-generation iPad Air. To use Sidecar with an iPad Air, you need a third-generation or later model.
