iOS 17 iPhone 11 issues

I just installed iOS 17.0 on my iPhone 11 just yesterday. At first it was working well but immediately noticed today my phone has not been working properly. This morning when my morning alarm went off I went to touch the stop button my phone screen was black, then glitched. I was able to touch the bottom but then the phone glitched again went to the Home Screen but my alarm was still going off. A few seconds later then stopped. My phone then turned itself off immediately after the alarm went off. When I pressed the one bottom on the side my Lock Screen would appear, I would go to open the phone and it would then go to a black screen with the dashed “loading” wheel. Then it would turn off again. The same thing occurred multiple times (20x). Couldn’t access the phone. I left the phone for maybe 10min was finally able to access it.

Even with access to the phone certain apps aren’t working and allowing me access.

my iPhone messages is one of them. I click on my messages, it will open but the moment I hit one of my individual texts to someone or a GM. The phone glitches, the app closes and takes me back to my Home Screen, I currently can’t access my messages.

My weather app is doing the same thing, I take on my weather app, it opens but no tempature will show for any of the cities. The app glitches, closes and I’m back at the Home Screen.

The outlook app is doing the same. It will open, glitch then close.

what do I do?

Hi there OliverACS,

You'll want to start by making sure you've updated to the latest release of iOS 17, which is iOS 17.0.2. If needed, learn how to update here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

For apps that are closing or not responding as they should, work through all the steps in this support article to see if they resolve the issue for you: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

If your iPhone is restarting unexpectedly and repeatedly, it could potentially be a hardware-related issue with the battery. Have a look at the information in this support article: If your iOS or iPadOS device restarts or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear unexpectedly - Apple Support

If this behavior persists, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for further assistance. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Apple Support

Take care.
