Sonoma Update MacBook Pro Apple ID Suggestions

Updated to Sonoma from Ventura on MacBook Pro without problems. Apple ID Suggestions shows 2 tasks and neither works. "New iCloud Terms and conditions" normally does nothing and when a pop up box appears, it is blank. "Update Apple ID settings" does nothing. I can login to iCloud using safari without problems. Obviously iCloud sync is paused.

Kept on trying various options and finally solved this by accepting it on iPhone and restarting MacBook. This made both error messages away although after restarting, the OS reminder indicated I needed to Accept The Cloud Changes, when I went to Settings-General, both "New iCloud Terms and conditions" and "Update Apple ID settings" both disappeared.

Had the same problem. Pop up box was blank and the buttons didn't work.

I restarted my macbook pro and the notification popped up again.

Instead of clicking on the notification itself I clicked on the little cross in the upper left corner to close the notification.

For some reason this took me to the settings to "Update my Apple Id Settings" but this time the pop up box wasn't blank and was able to agree to the new terms.

Hope this helps.

Hi Malha

Sorry to hear you are having this frustrating issue. On my iPhone there was a request to accept “terms and conditions”. Possibly because I had recently updated to 17.0.1. Hopefully Apple will come up with an update in soon. In the meantime, although inconvenient, I was able to access all my cloud files using a browser while I was trying to find a fix.
