My iPhone wallpaper is blurred
My log on screen photo and contact-if-found is blurred. My image and wording shows in the back but can’t be seen or read. My desktop is just a color. How can I unblur it?

Ever since the last updates. NOW all pictures I use as wallpaper blurs at the top edge! That messes up most of my pictures! How do I get rid of it. Pinch and adjust was fine but this blur the top is annoying! How do I clear it? And if it’s a new apple thinks it’s a cool feature they are wrong!!!!! Give me the option to add that effect if I want. If there’s a way to clear it let me know please!

This works fine for the Home Screen but not the Lock Screen. Fix this Apple. It’s a problem. I want the clear picture on my Lock Screen!
I’m trying to install a new wallpaper on my iPhone but it keeps blurring how do I turn it off? I can’t find a button to turn it off.
The “unblur” button doesn’t exist
I’m not enjoying it, I hate it. I don’t want my wallpapers blurry when expanded. I just want my wallpapers to be the same when expanded, not blurry.
It sounds like you want to un-blur your iPhone's Home Screen wallpaper.
To unblur it, open Settings -> Wallpaper. You should see two "Customize" buttons, one for the Lock Screen and one for the Home Screen. Tap the "Customize" button on the Home Screen, then toggle off "Blur" in the bottom right.
Finally, hit "Done" in the top right to save your changes.
That button is not there
I think you are enjoying the IOS 17 wallpaper blur new feature, the more you zoom out the more it blurs, is this your case?
Yes, me too. Was fine until today. Then when getting my phone out of my pocket it seemed to go to the Customize option. Now I can’t change it back. The Lock Screen is always blurred and looks nothing like the preview.
It’s very clear in being able to stop the wallpaper blur. Button is there for that. But not on the Home Screen. The zoom out feature if that is the case is really annoying. I just want my Lock Screen to have a clear picture on it. Was easy on previous iOS version
What about for Lock Screen?
That doesn’t seem like that’s a fix to the problem as there is no option to not make the wallpapers blurry when they are expanded. All my wallpapers are still blurry when expanded. Apple really needs to fix this with their next update.
I have a problem with wallpaper but “blur” button doesn’t fix that. It’s just staying like that. Like the half wallpaper is blur. And I don’t know how to fix that. When the wallpaper is too big, and I want to resize, the half of wallpaper is blur.
i am not Enjoying it.
I’ve had the same issue and found the way. If you hit the add button then there are two options that Set as wallpaper pair and Customize home screen. Hit the home screen button then hit the blur button. The wallpaper is now unblur.
