A horizontal, thin black line suddenly appeared on my iPhone XR screen after updating IOS 17, It started out small but then started to get longer and reach the other end of my screen.
I already tried restarting my phone however, it's not working.
What could be the issue? How can I fix this?

A new update 17.6.1 has been arrived after the horizontal line appears on my screen. I installed the update and now thank god the line is disappearing day by day - its getting small and tiny day by day
I don’t see a thin line, I see a couple of spots that might be wrinkles in your screen protector, or may indicate a failing display.
I don’t think your issue is the same as the other posts in this thread.
Does it appear in other apps also?
