Just want to ask if this setup is possible. I have 2 keyboards connected to Mainstage. First keyboard is Yamaha MX88, second keyboard is M-Audio Axiom. Is it possible for the second keyboard(Axiom) to use a certain patch from MX88(Example brass), while the patch current selected on MX88 is Piano. FYI also that in this setup I am using the built-in audio interface of the Yamaha MX88.

The issue is not with MainStage, it is whether there is a way to have the MX88 play an instrument that is not selected as its keyboard setting. The only way I can think this might work is if the MX88 allows different instruments assigned to different MIDI channels in which case you could route into the MX88 on the channel assigned to the instrument you want to play from the Axiom. I have no knowledge of the MX88 so cannot help further.
You can certainly route the MIDI OUT of your Axiom to the MIDI IN of the MX88 using MainStage. The question is whether you can send an instrument select message to the MX to play brass (or whatever). I would set up the routing and prove it before trying to instruct the MX to select your desired instrument. Good luck!

Currently I could play MX88's patch on Axiom, so for example I could use the piano patch of MX88 on Axiom and the audio is coming out of MX88.

The problem that I'm having is that whenever I change the patch on MX88, it also changes on Axiom. What I want to achieve is to be able to play a different MX88 patch on Axiom while using a piano patch on MX88.
I have no problem on using Mainstage patches on both of the keyboards, but there are some MX88 patches that I love that I would like to use on the second keyboard(Axiom).
