Hi ketley2aug,

If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your Apple Watch, please check out this link, which has some information that may help, and explains what to do: If Siri isn't working on your Apple Watch

After each step, see if Siri responds:

1. Check the Internet connection on your Apple Watch.
2. On your iPhone, see if Siri is turned on. Tap Settings > Siri & Search, then turn on Listen for "Hey Siri". Or tap Listen for and turn on Siri.
3. On your Apple Watch, see if Siri is turned on. Tap Settings > Siri.
4. Restart your Apple Watch.
5. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Siri & Search, then turn off Listen for "Hey Siri". Or tap Listen for > Off. Then turn it on again.
6. See if the microphone or speaker on your Apple Watch is blocked. For example, if your device has a protective case, remove it.
7. If Siri doesn't speak on Apple Watch Series 3 or later, you might need to download its voice. The download happens when you’re on Wi-Fi and your Apple Watch is charging. To give the download time to complete, try charging your Apple Watch overnight. To check the status of the download on your Apple Watch, tap Settings > Siri, then scroll to Siri Voice. Learn which languages Siri speaks.

If Siri still doesn't respond, contact Apple Support.

Thanks!

Hi

”Hey Siri” is working on my apple watch s5. I’m talking about the new feature that allows to just say “Siri” instead of “Hey Siri”.

This new Siri option isn't showing on my apple watch s5. It shows and works everywhere else - iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPad Pro M1 11”, MacBook Air M2 13”, HomePod mini.

Phone language, Region, Siri Language - all these settings are same across all my devices.

I checked with some other users of apple watch S6 and S8. It works for them too. They have the option to select “Listen for Siri and Hey Siri”.

The only two of my devices that don’t work with this new just “Siri” feature are Apple TV HD and Apple Watch S5. Seems like apple mentioned in their documents that Apple TV supports Siri through siri remote and HomePod. So apple tv itself is not going to have that option standalone. But apple forgot to mention that this new feature wont work in old watches like S5. Or if does work then i need the solution how to make this feature appear on my apple watch s5.

In conclusion. “Hey Siri” works. I want “Siri” to work too. Check the attached image below.

Thanks
