Standby Mode not staying on iPhone 15 Pro

It's not just you with the issue JBN. Im getting the exact same problem on my iPhone 15 pro. Feels like no matter what I do with the settings, nothing really changes. I just want the screen to stay on all night no matter what..

i to have this problem! Mine goes one issue further! In the middle of the night it stops being in standby all together, meaning if I tap the screen to get it to come back up it’s the normal login screen! This only happens later in the night though, if I tap the screen earlier in the night it will show the standby clock and calendar in Red….

Although, again, some time durning the night it’s as if it looses connection with the stand and reconnects on its own, although it doesn’t go back to the standby mode! Kinda sad!

Having this issue as well with 15pro, driving me around the bend! Will try the hard reset. Just to be clear on standby, night mode, red clock, the display is supposed to go off after a while, then wave hand to turn it back on. On normal standby, clock is suppose to stay on permanently, which is what I want at night.

Just done hard reset, see how it goes. I also think, when 15pro is charging standby clock stays on, once fully charged then display goes off….also on the big digital clock which shows time, date, temp and any alarm set (very cool) the temp is stuck on Fahrenheit and I’ve tried everything to get it to change to Celsius but no luck 🤦🏻‍♂️

I have the same issue! After restarting the iphone it came to work but after the last iOs update 17.03 it stopped to work again 😩 the screen goes off after just a few seconds… please Apple, do something with it! It’s a great feature that I’d like to use after paying such money…

My 15 ProMax will show the correct clock/time in red for about 10sec and then defaults to a clock that never moves showing 10:10/30 sec. The screen doesn’t respond to movement🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve tried a soft and hard reset, tried deleting the clock widget and adding it back in, etc…all with negative results.

I had two talks on different days with Apple Support. The second suggested changing settings in Focus. I followed their instructions but that didn’t work either. Not sure what else to do? Last night my phone went off 3 times.

We have the opposite problem lol. If I could, I would swap your problem with mine :P Mine in Automatic will shuts off on Magsafe buttttt will also shut off randomly when set to "never" :| They need to have it work properly for everybody in the proper way. It's just buggish for too many people atm

I've been trying for a while and still haven't found a fix!

The best phone on the market and they can't fix this irritating issue...!!!

And now I'm on 17.3.1 and it's still no better...

C'mon Apple, make this work please. The third party nightstand alarm clocks work perfectly well, Standby is a better solution but please resolve this irritating issue.

I would gladly exchange your problem with my problem and both problems would be solved lol :P (since you want it to disappear and mine does and your doesn't and my problem is it disappears randomly after a while) ;)

Just updated to 17.4, still not fixed. Standby mode turned off after a few hours durning the night. So much for “never” turning off. So much for “always on display”. Does Apple know what these words mean?

Security issues seem to be the issue. I can get parts working since Lock Screen widgets allowed but only weather is available nothing but clock and weather we should be able to allow on a separate screen when standby is allowed after messing around with it not all options normally there can be allowed like reminders is a scroll option but can’t allow

I am also having this problem with my new iPhone 15 Pro. Standby mode turns off after 30 seconds and I need to touch the screen to bring it back. Makes standby mode at night useless.
