No files showing up in Recents in Finder
On my MacBook Air - Ventura, when I open Finder, no files appear in my Recents folder. One day they were there, the next nothing. Don't remember changing anything.

Recents is a search folder. Try rebuilding the Spotlight index.

The metadata could have been deleted in the upgrade, but I don't know why.
Open a file in the Finder. Does it appear in Recents?

Turns out the old standby of shutting it down and restarting did the trick.
This was driving me crazy. This was the only solution that worked for me. Thank you!
