Purchased Final Cut pro on the Education Bundle - Macbook Pro 2015
Hey,
I've done a bit of research in the community and can't find a specific answer to my problem, I'm hoping someone here can guide me to the right answer.
I purchased Final Cut on the Education Bundle but have realised as a Macbook Pro 2015 user, that Final Cut now requires MacOS 13.4.1 as a minimum to redeem your code and download the application.
In June of 2022, Apple decided that the Macbook Pro 2015 would not be able to install Ventura and consquently Sonoma. Therefore this makes my Macbook Pro 2015 obsolete when trying to use FCP.
Is there a solution to this such as contacting Apple Support and requesting an older version? I know there's loads of forums online on how to do this illegally or using third-party applications but I was just wondering has anyone had a similar issue and if so have Apple helped you find a solution?
I kind of wish Apple had made this more clear and I wouldn't have spent all that money.
Any advice is appreciated.
